Well the gamertag reads Renegade but my real name is James, for a living I'm a Firefighter/Paramedic although this is a new job title for me I've been working as an EMT for 5 years, prior to that I spent 9 years in Her Majesties British Army Army with D squadron 1st Royal Tank Regiment (you won't find any heroes here, it was a job).
I first got into serious gaming back in 1999 playing Half-Life on the PC and subsequently playing Counter-Strike and Team Fortress Classic online as well. My console days started in the 19990's with the Nintendo Entertainment System, progressing on to the first Playstation and that's when I was introduced to the world of rallying playing Colin McRae Rally. From there I moved to the Playstation 2 and then onto the first Xbox to play HALO, and have been with the green since.
When I'm not working or trying to make an attempt at getting better on Forza Motorsport 6 I find myself either being bugged by my 3 daughters or I'm tinkering with the car.
I'm also part of the BRDC (British Racing Drivers Club) and BARC (British Automobile Racing Club), being members of both these organisations and given my chosen profession this has lead to me being part of the Medical team at my home track Thruxton, which has lead to some exciting opportunities, one of which is driving the Doctors car at the Thruxton round of the BTCC (British Touring Car Championship).
I have been described as a mediocre human so I try to live up to it
See you all in our endeavours.....
